There is adjusting to early marriage, maybe new jobs, new locations, the blessing of children - there are always new events in a relationship that require adjustments.<br /><br />As I just commented on another post here, my husband and I are brand new empty nesters. Our relationship has entered a new phase that takes some getting used to - not that we're complaining! We are learning (or re-learning!) to enjoy all our time together.<br /><br />A masterpiece requires continual care - even when you think you have it "right" - you need to make sure to protect it so that no paint chips off, the colors don't fade and it doesn't dry out and crackle (can you tell I'm a former decorative painter?
