Having substituted more primitive mating for true intimacy in the past, I find as I get older that I crave true emotional intimacy more and more. Is this a natural result of aging/maturing? I think it can be, because if I am introspective enough to learn from past mistakes I realize what has been missing. That makes me crave what has been missing more than anything.
