Loving Deeply

I'm passionate about intimacy.

I believe the deep emotional connection that is intimacy is a place where the creativity of our universe shows itself in the human.

I believe the depth of the human flourishes in intimacy.

I believe intimacy is one of the most amazing, phenomenal creations of our existence. It is what has moved us from simple selfish animals to creatures that care, have compassion, and love.

I'm reminded of a quote by Lao Tzu... he writes,

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

Could it be that deeply loving another and being loved is what keeps us alive?

Would surival matter to humans without love and intimacy?

I don't think so.
