The romance and passion that typically fills a relationships often fades over time.
It doesn't have to.
Yes, there are changes that come and certainly the brain chemistry alters over time but this doesn't mean romance and passion must be non-existent.
The truth is, romance and passion can be more powerful and enjoyable as time goes on if effort and energy are put forth to have it so.
How does one keep the romance and passion burning brightly?
First there needs to be honest and open discussion sharing exactly what works for each partner. In other words, what is it that helps you feel romantic? What is it that brings out that passion in you? What can you or your spouse do to keep the fire burning?
Of course passion and romance mean different things to different people so it is essential to get in touch with exactly what it is that brings you that excitement, and what it is that brings out that excitement in your partner.
Have some fun as you share ideas, experiment, come up with new or creative ways to bring that passion and romance into your life. Really get clear on what it is you want, desire, or need.
Then make sure you act on that information.

Hi Jennifer ... I came across your blof this past weekend and liked what I saw so I bookmarked it. In today's post I think it all boils down to one word ... communication. I know many people are shy or embarressed to voice their desires, wants or needs especially when sex is the subject. I believe that they think others (their partner) may think them perverted?
Be open and talk ... about everything.
Hi George... I'm so glad you found my blog! You are so right! Communication is just HUGE when it comes to relationships...Actually you just inspired my thought for today! :-) Thanks for your insights!
Hi Technobabe...
You are totally correct that what is "romance" is not the same for everyone. We each have ways of feeling loved or romantic and the way to keep the relationship vibrant is to discover them and act upon them... which you are a great example of! Thanks a bunch!
